The MSC World America, MSC Cruises' latest flagship, is making its way toward Miami, Florida, in anticipation of its inaugural Caribbean voyages commencing on April 12, 2025. This state-of-the-art vessel represents a significant expansion of MSC’s presence in the American cruise market, offering passengers an unparalleled blend of European elegance and American comfort.

A Special Shipyard Ceremony

Before departing for Miami, the MSC World America was officially handed over to MSC Cruises in a grand ceremony at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. The event brought together shipbuilders, MSC executives, and special guests to celebrate the ship’s completion. As part of maritime tradition, the ceremony featured a symbolic ribbon-cutting, speeches from company leaders, and a blessing for the ship’s future voyages.

Itineraries and Destinations

Departing from PortMiami, the MSC World America offers a variety of 7-night Caribbean cruises with itineraries that include:

• Eastern Caribbean: Stops in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas.

• Western Caribbean: Visits to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; Isla de Roatan, Honduras; and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
